なんともめでたく、うれしい
2026年の始まりのギャラリー開き。
屋久島というと「水の島」という印象が強いですが、
始まりの、さらに始まりはマグマ。
火のエネルギー。
空間の粒子が、喜びピカピカしているように感じました。
美しい人間の身体の動きによって表現される、
力強い、大地、火、のエナジーが
ギャラリー全体と深く共鳴。
Chigusa さんの踊りは、いつも惚れ惚れします。
心よりありがとうございます。

奥に見えている絵のタイトルは
「愛」。
いつも、完全に大丈夫。
孫悟空がどれだけ遠くへ行ったつもりでも、
結局はお釈迦さまの手の中から
出ていなかったように。
本当の愛とは、そもそも無条件のもの。
だから「無条件の愛」という言葉は、
「頭痛が痛い」のような
少し重なった表現にも感じます。
そんな理由で、
この作品のタイトルは
とてもシンプルに
「愛」と名付けました。

Last week,
we held the first gallery opening of the year.
Chigusa from Amanokotohogi
offered a sacred dance—
the Yakushima dance of the fire-quelling goddess.
It was a truly auspicious and joyful opening,
welcoming the beginning of 2026.
Yakushima is often known as an island of water,
but its very beginning—
the beginning of all beginnings—
was magma,
the energy of fire.
Through the beautiful movement of the human body,
a powerful, earthy, fiery energy
resonated deeply throughout the gallery space.
Chigusa’s dance always leaves me in awe.
With heartfelt gratitude,
thank you so much.
The painting visible in the background
is titled “Love.”
Everything is always completely okay.
Just as Sun Wukong believed he had traveled far away,
only to realize he was still within
the palm of the Buddha’s hand.
True love is unconditional by nature.
That is why the phrase “unconditional love”
can feel almost redundant—
like saying “a painful headache.”
So I chose a simple title:
Love.
